ABOUT US
The TUXIS Parliament of Alberta is the oldest youth parliament in Alberta, and the longest continuously running youth parliament in Canada. We are a diverse group of youth from all over Alberta who have a passion for debate, politics, and bettering our communities. TUXIS is a spiritual non-denominational youth parliament, and we welcome members of all faiths and belief systems.
Interesting and informative debates with peers concerning contemporary topics are held each day during Session. These discussions allow one to learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them. Exposure to different points of view encourages tolerance of varying political opinions, worldviews, and interpretations of faith.
